Sandroplast
Complete website relaunch for a long-established manufacturer of bituminous specialty products. From an outdated legacy site to a modern, bilingual company presence with a structured product catalog and optimized performance.
sandroplast.de - Live website
Presenting a traditional company in a modern way
sandroplast Sandrock GmbH is a family-owned business with over 50 years of experience manufacturing bituminous products. The existing website was technically outdated and did not adequately represent the broad product range - from solvent-free silo coatings to thick bitumen coatings.
What was needed was a professional presence that communicates both the industrial character and the quality and sustainability of the products - for German-speaking as well as international customers.
High-performance static export with Next.js
Development of a modern Next.js website with static export that can run on any web server without a Node.js environment. The site features a structured product catalog with detail pages for each product, including technical data and safety data sheets.
Additionally, an animated hero slider with Ken Burns effect, a company history section with team slider, full internationalization (DE/EN), and Docker-based deployment for easy maintenance.
What the website delivers
Structured Product Catalog
Clear categorization into solvent-free and solvent-based products with individual detail pages, technical specifications, and downloadable safety data sheets.
Bilingual (DE/EN)
Full internationalization with next-intl - all content, navigation, and product pages are available in German and English for international customers.
Animated Hero Slider
Eye-catching fullscreen slider with crossfade transitions and Ken Burns effect for a dynamic, professional appearance right when the page loads.
Team & History Section
Auto-scrolling image galleries showcase both the current team and historical photos from 50+ years of company history.
Static Export
Through static Next.js export, the website runs without server-side rendering on a simple Apache web server - maximum performance with minimal hosting overhead.
Docker Deployment
Multi-stage Dockerfile for automated build and deployment: Node.js builds the app, Apache serves the static files. A single push triggers a new deployment.
Tech Stack
Modern React stack with a focus on performance and simple hosting.
